Job summary

Lake Pleasant Post Acute in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in‑house therapy team. You will deliver rehabilitative treatment and participate in care planning focused on improving physical functioning and wound care outcomes.

Licensed SLP is required; new grads are welcome. We offer a competitive pay rate of $38–$50/hour, a supportive environment, and opportunities for growth within the Ensign network.

Qualifications

• SLP license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments per regulatory standards.
• Perform regular standing/walking; assist with lifting and repositioning.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, gait, exercises, modalities, devices).
• Offer consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Create comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
