Catalina Post Acute Care and Rehabilitation in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening and treating clients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and developing individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• License to practice as Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Ability to screen and evaluate speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.

Responsabilités

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, creating care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment for related disorders while complying with standards.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services; refer as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.

Catalina Post Acute Care and Rehabilitation in Tucson, AZ, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.

This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels
