Lake Pleasant Post Acute in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. The role offers leadership, facility-level decision making, and a supportive environment to do your best work.

The position features a flexible schedule for work-life balance, a pay range of $38-$50 per hour based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. SLP license is required; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with activities requiring standing, walking, lifting, transferring and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries complying with regulatory and clinical requirements.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FULL TIME – LAKE PLEASANT POST ACUTE – PEORIA, AZ

Lake Pleasant Post Acute in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. $38 - $50/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
