Mercyhealth in Illinois is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan and implement treatment for a variety of patient diagnoses. The role is structured as 30 hours per week with flexible daytime shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, be licensed in IL or WI, and hold the CCC from ASHA with CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire. Cross-coverage travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed as a speech language pathologist in WI, IL or both if required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation/assessment to create an effective plan of care.
• Applies integrative treatment to improve patient function.
• Maintains thorough electronic documentation and coding.
• Communicates with disciplines and referring providers to improve outcomes.
• Plan and conduct lectures and training for staff and students.
