Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment programs for patients in accordance with departmental policies. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and active licensure in the applicable state, with ASHA certification within one year of hire and current BLS.

Emergency response capability is required. Preference for one year of experience with diverse patient ages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certified.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals and patient care.
