Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses and plan effective care. You will document thoroughly and collaborate with nursing and physicians across locations.
The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure in WI/IL or both, and CCC from ASHA. CPR/BLS is required within 90 days of hire; travel to other Mercyhealth locations for cross-coverage is expected.
Responsible for the evaluation, planning and implementation of a treatment plan addressing the functional needs of a variety of patient diagnoses.
24 hours per week
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
Licensed as a speech language pathologist in WI, IL or both if required
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire
Passing the Driver’s License check
Travel to other locations for cross coverage
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check
Must be able to follow written/oral instructions
Some independent judgement is required, based upon scope of practice and within professional standards.
