Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing safety, and overall functional independence.

The role involves assessing needs, implementing targeted therapies, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state SLP license.
• ASHA certification or eligibility as applicable.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide swallowing and feeding therapy when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies.
• Recommend communication strategies and assistive devices as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
