Job summary

Requirements include a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, strong communication skills, and NJ licensure eligibility. CF/entry level considered; doctoral degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for the evaluation of the patient/client in accordance with policies and standards; collects history and administers tests.
• Establishes a plan of care with the client/patient/family based on functional, measurable goals.
• Performs therapy for all ages; uses developmentally appropriate activities and data-driven decisions.
• Modifies goals or progress based on reassessment and progression.
• Communicates with patient, family and other health professionals at an appropriate level.
• Documents data and records charges in compliance with policies and reimbursement considerations.
• Lifts, pushes or pulls as required and adheres to department policies and procedures.
