Job summary

SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work in our outpatient rehabilitation program in O’Fallon, IL. The role runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The position offers a salary range of $66,560 to $91,395 annually, and a comprehensive benefits package. A CCC in Speech Language Pathology or eligibility is required, along with state licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• CCC in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for Certification pending required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes treatment goals and programs.
• Monitors patient status and goals over time.
• Develops comprehensive goals to maximize outcomes.
• Coordinates treatment with other clinical services.
• Attends clinical meetings to coordinate care.
• Educates patients and families with home programs and instructions.
• Prepares for discharge and orders equipment as needed.
• Assesses patient in home, school, work or community environments.

Salary: $66,560 -$91,395 annually, based on years of experience.

SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
• Provides ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals
• Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes.
• Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
• Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination
• Provides for patient education to include development of comprehensive and progressive home programs with instruction to patient, family and other caregivers
• Prepares for patient discharge inclusive of ordering of necessary equipment and recommendations
• Evaluates patient in actual or simulated home, school, work or community environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy required
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
