Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Supplemental Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders. You will document findings, develop plans, and mentor staff and students while contributing to program development.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a Texas SLP license, ASHA certification, and BLS. Experience in leadership and education is preferred to support clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program with a Master’s degree in SLP.
• Current Texas license to practice SLP; ASHA certification required; BLS certification.
• One year of experience preferred; ability to mentor and supervise interns and staff.
• Demonstrated leadership in clinical settings and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rehabilitate patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Document findings, progress and formulate plans of care with measurable goals.
• Provide instruction to patients and caregivers and mentor assistants, interns and technicians.
• Serve as clinical resource and contribute to program development and staff training.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies while managing time and resources.
