Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area within a Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation setting. The position focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, with Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and collaboration with the rehab team, with autonomy and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• New York State SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• CFs welcome; could take an experienced CFY with autonomy across acute care/SNF/OP.
• CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education.
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program.
