Job summary

Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area seeks a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CF) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will work with a collaborative care team to deliver patient-centered therapy.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and NY license or eligibility
CFs welcome; role offers autonomy in SNF/Acute care/OP
CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies
Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members
Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines
Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education
Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program
