Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is recruiting a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / CF for a full-time position in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area, within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation provider. The role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

CFs are welcome, with autonomy; CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• New York State SLP license or eligibility.
• CFs welcome; autonomy in role; covers acute SNF.
• CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute settings; strong communication, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program
