Job summary

Skylake Post Acute in Thornton, Colorado seeks a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You will work within an inter-disciplinary team delivering speech therapy to residents in a leading SNF setting.

Must be ASHA-eligible or ASHA-certified, have a current Colorado SLP license, and be comfortable with Casamba and Point Click Care. Competitive pay, benefits, 401k with match, PTO, sick leave, ongoing training, and a great team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an ASHA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred.
• Current, active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services as part of an inter-disciplinary team for residents.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments to improve communication and swallow function.
• Maintain accurate documentation and documentation systems as required.

Successful Candidate

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech Program by ASHA.


• Experience in providing appropriate care in post-acute or long-term care environment (preferred)


• Current, unencumbered, active Colorado Speech Therapist License (required)


• CPR (as requested)


• Successfully completed a national examination in SLP approved by the HHS Secretary. Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.

Rate Range

$46-$50/hour
