Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• Current license in the State of Michigan to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC certification required (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• BLS certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and administers treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Designs and revises plan of care and goals.
• Provide reports to physicians and documentation per unit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in in-service education and inter-disciplinary team activities.
• Stay current with trends in speech and swallowing disorders.
