Job summary

Oaklawn-Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist, CCC, to provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language and dysphagia for patients in a Physical Therapy/Sports Rehab setting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and current Michigan licensure, with BLS certification within three months. Schedule includes four days per week, 7:00am–5:30pm, plus rotating weekends/holidays for inpatient coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Current Michigan license to practice as an SLP required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans and goals.
• Provide treatment and dysphagia rehabilitation.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians.
• Participate in education programs and team conferences.
