Job summary
CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide a continuum of outpatient services for patients with neurological, swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health and well-being.
The role requires CCC-SLP, ASHA certification, a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and current BLS. You will work at Penrose - St.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- ASHA Certification and CCC-SLP credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with evaluating and treating neurogenic communication disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement measurable treatment plans with the care team.
- Perform a range of therapeutic interventions including swallowing and voice therapy.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records accurately.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and health care staff while maintaining confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinicians about treatment goals and progress.
