Job summary

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support grades 6–12 in a specialized school setting in Wyomissing, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

This role focuses on Autism, complex communication needs, and AAC, with collaborative work alongside teachers, OTs, and the educational team to deliver functional therapy.

Salary ranges from $65,000–$80,000 with medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate.
  • Experience with Autism and/or AAC preferred.
  • Comfortable supporting students with complex communication needs and behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy to students with Autism and complex communication needs.
  • Develop and implement functional therapy goals to support communication across school and daily environments.
  • Support students who use AAC, including high-tech devices.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, and other members of the educational team.
  • Participate in co-treatment opportunities, particularly with Occupational Therapy.
  • Support students who may demonstrate challenging behaviors or require a structured learning environment.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team focused on building independence and communication skills.

Speech-Language Pathologist – Autism & AAC
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades 6th–12th in a specialized school setting in Wyomissing, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with students with Autism, complex communication needs, and AAC and wants to provide functional, meaningful therapy in a highly collaborative environment.

Grade Levels: 6th–12th grade

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Setting: On-site

Office Space: Shared

What You'll Do
  • Provide speech-language therapy to students with Autism and complex communication needs
  • Develop and implement functional therapy goals that support communication across school and daily environments
  • Support students who use AAC, including high-tech communication devices
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, and other members of the educational team
  • Participate in co-treatment opportunities, particularly with Occupational Therapy
  • Support students who may demonstrate challenging behaviors or require a more structured learning environment
  • Work as part of a collaborative team focused on helping students build greater independence and communication skills
