AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a specialized high school and transition program in Newark, DE. You will deliver speech-language therapy to high school and transition-aged students with autism and complex communication needs, collaborating with educators and other professionals.

The role emphasizes developing IEP-driven treatment plans, using AAC, and maintaining thorough documentation with a caseload of about 20–25 students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Delaware SLP license or ability to obtain required for practice in the state.
• ASHA CCC-SLP credential required for licensed SLPs who have CFY.
• Experience with autism and complex communication needs preferred.
• Experience with AAC is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Location:Newark, DE
School Setting:Specialized Autism Program
Schedule:Full-time | 35 hours/week | 8:20 AM–4:00 PM
Dates:August 18, 2026 – June 15, 2027
Pay:$65,000–$80,000

Make a Meaningful Impact with Students with Autism

We are seeking aSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a specialized high school and transition program serving students with autism and complex communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about supporting students with significant needs and wants to make a meaningful impact in a highly supportive school environment.

The program serves students who require a higher level of support than may be available in a traditional school setting. You'll work with high school and transition-aged students while collaborating closely with educators and other members of the school team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy to high school and transition-aged students
• Support students with complex communication needs and autism
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
• Utilize AAC and other communication strategies to support functional communication
• Manage an anticipated caseload of approximately20–25 students, with many students receiving a higher frequency of services
• Maintain appropriate documentation and meet all school and professional requirements

Qualifications

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)required for licensed SLPs who have completed their CF

• Experience with or an interest in AAC is highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
