Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing facility team in Wellsville, MO. You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering one-to-one care and collaborative services with other therapists.

The role emphasizes individualized therapy plans, ongoing patient education, and staying current with industry best practices. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program).
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.

Position Summary
