Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Natchitoches, LA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility team. This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours and an hourly pay rate based on experience.

The position focuses on diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and documenting progress to improve

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.

Position Summary

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs
• Help patients improve function and overall quality of life

Key Responsibilities
