Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings throughout California.

The role emphasizes family-centered coaching, IFSP-based service delivery, and flexible scheduling, including virtual options. Compensation includes competitive hourly rates ($75–$85 per hour) with sign-on bonus up to $1000, mileage reimbursement, monthly tech stipend and potential medical benefits for

Qualifications

• Requires California state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy using Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow IFSP and collaborate with families to set developmental goals.
• Build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress generalization through family-centered coaching.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community); virtual sessions available.

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• California Speech Language Pathology license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
