Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. seeks licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide infant and toddler speech therapy in home-based and community settings in California.

Therapists can create their own schedules, work across various locations, and may receive a sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing the Parent Coaching Model, following IFSPs, and producing progress reports while maintaining family confidentiality and HIPAA

Qualifications

• California Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.
