How you’ll make an impact in this role
Complete individualized patient evaluations and participate in developing and implementing individual care plans through collaboration with physicians and patient care teams, including patient and family.
Provide, document and direct skilled and purposeful therapeutic care to progress the patient through their plan of care.
Instruct and educate patient/family/caregivers in the use of therapy and compensatory rehabilitation in relation to their diagnosis.
Prioritize caseload, determine patient care needs and coordinate with therapy and medical staff for appropriate assignments/handoff.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Speech‑Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech‑LanguagePathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date. Will also accept Texas‑Speech Language Pathologist - Intern
