Spencer Post Acute Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team in Spencer, IA. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and preparing discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.

We offer a stable, fun in-house therapy environment with CAPLICO values guiding our care. Licensure as an SLP is required and all experience levels are welcome.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - FULL TIME - SPENCER POST ACUTE - SPENCER, IA

Spencer Post Acute Rehabilitation Center is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
