Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in an elementary school setting on a full-time contract basis. The SLP-CCC credential and an active Illinois license are required for this school-based role.

You will manage a caseload of about 40 students, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress in alignment with district policies. The schedule runs weekdays from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois SLP license and necessary state certifications.
  • Current SLP-CCC credential.
  • Strong background in school-based speech therapy.
  • Experience working with elementary-age children.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and district guidelines.
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents.
  • Support STARS students with targeted interventions and progress monitoring.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required.

Position Highlights:
