Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support elementary or early childhood students in a Rockford, IL school. This full-time contract runs 37.5 hours per week across a full academic year from August 3rd to May 28th, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, conducting assessments, writing IEPs, coordinating with teachers and families, maintaining records, and participating in PD and meetings.

Qualifications

• Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
• PEL in Illinois or in process, current or in progress.
• Open to CFY candidates or CCC holders.

Step into an exciting role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Rockford, IL. With three openings available and a full-year schedule from August 3rd (orientation) through May 28th, you'll become an integral part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration and student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state of Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois, current or in process
• Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience supporting school-based caseloads is desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in elementary or early childhood settings
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive and effective support
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by school policy
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and engagement
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings
