Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract position supporting elementary students in Oak Park, IL, running January through June to cover a leave of absence.

You'll collaborate with a dedicated school-based team, provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, maintain progress notes, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver individual and group therapy to develop speech and language skills.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Holds (or eligible for) SLP-CCC or is a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Illinois licensure or eligibility required
  • Background in pediatrics or prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school documentation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for an elementary caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver student-centered care
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adhere to all compliance requirements
  • Offer both individual and group therapy aimed at developing speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Support IEP development and attend meetings as needed
  • Deliver expert strategies and education to staff and parents to enhance student success

Job description

Step into a contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role running January through June.
