Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist near Peoria, IL to work in a school-based setting with a caseload focused on AAC users and multimodal communication. This role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.

The position covers 38 students, 35 hours weekly (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-3:30pm) with immediate start, and lasts through June 28, 2027. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Illinois
  • Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with AAC devices and strategies

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students with a range of communication needs
  • Implement AAC and multimodal intervention strategies to enhance student communication
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain clear and compliant documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Adapt therapy plans as student needs evolve over the contract duration
