Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center in Monterey, CA seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in a full‑time role within a skilled nursing/post‑acute setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders, creating individualized plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care and documentation compliance.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or post‑acute setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards while delivering patient‑centered care.

    Cypress Ridge Care Center

    Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This is a full‑time opportunity in a skilled nursing / post‑acute care setting, providing high‑quality therapy services to our residents.

    Position Details

    Schedule: Full Time
    Compensation: Starting at $45/hour and up, DOE (Depending on Experience)
    Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long‑Term Care

    Responsibilities

    Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders
    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
    Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
