Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center in Monterey, CA is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing/post‑acute setting. This full‑time role offers starting pay of $45–$55/hour DOE and a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders; develop and implement individualized plans; document evaluations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required/ preferred.
• Current state SLP license (or eligibility) required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome.
• Experience in SNF/post-acute setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies.
• Maintain productivity and deliver patient-centered care.
