Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team. The SLP will provide speech and language services to students across educational settings and collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student success.

Responsibilities include evaluating disorders, creating IEPs, delivering therapy, and maintaining records. Candidates with MD eligibility and CCC-SLP or CFY are encouraged to apply; school holidays provide

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or in progress.
  • Active SLP license in the state of MD or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.

Job description

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in the state of MD (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
