Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist, full-time or part-time/flexible to provide relationship based and neurodiversity affirming outpatient and early intervention services through a coaching model in the child's natural environment (home, early childhood center, community) in Chester County, PA.

M-F position, flexible schedule but must be open at least 1-2 days from 4-7 for outpatient.

Bloom and Grow is dedicated to serving families, caregivers, infants, and toddlers through relationship-based care that promotes and encourages a child’s development while also embracing their strengths and individual differences. Our main office is located in the heart of Kennett Square, PA.

Duties:

  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social capabilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
  • Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to facilitate patients' progress and maximize their independence
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate/Coach patients and their families on strategies for managing their areas of need and promoting overall well-being

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited program
  • Valid state license and certifications as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • At least 2 years of experience in specific areas such as pediatrics, infants and toddlers, early intervention
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and their families of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to build strong rapport with patients and families
