Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide acute and outpatient services for adults and pediatrics, addressing swallowing, cognition, and communication disorders. You will join a supportive team and engage in onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing education.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology, NY licensure, clinical fellowship completion, and BLS‑CPR certification by appointment.

Qualifications

• Clinical certification in Speech‑Pathology (or equivalent).
• NY State licensure required.

Responsibilities

Openings are available to provide acute care services and/or outpatient services for adults and pediatrics with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, head and neck cancer, SCI, cardiac conditions, and chronic airway. Upstate provides extensive onboarding, training, mentoring, and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

To become a member of our caring and effective team you must ensure the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Pathology
• Clinical certification in Speech‑Pathology (or equivalent)
• NY State licensure
• Completion of clinical fellowship
• BLS‑CPR certification required by the time of appointment
