The Pioneer Valley Regional School District seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist at the elementary level.
The Speech-Language Pathologist works as a member of the Student Services team and provides both direct and consultative services for children with communication and other disabilities.
The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with teachers, special educators, other school personnel, and families to develop and implement individual or group programs, and support classroom activities. The Speech-Language Pathologist provides services within the general education classroom, on a pull-out basis, and within the context of a specialized program. In addition to providing direct services, the Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the testing and evaluation of students, including initial evaluations and reevaluations.
The student population is varied, with disabilities including specific learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, social-emotional, etc.
