Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a K-12 school setting in Athens, Tennessee. You will conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

The role offers a full-time schedule for the 2026-2027 school year, with up to negotiation on licensure reimbursements and benefits. We support therapists across districts in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee SLP license required.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

Hello, Speech Language Pathologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a K-12 school setting in Athens, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. This is a great fit for both experienced school-based SLPs and those transitioning into schools.
