Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a K–12 school setting in Athens, Tennessee. You’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams.

This role suits both experienced school-based SLPs and those transitioning into schools. We offer pay up to $57/hour, a steady school-year schedule, and W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee SLP license or eligible
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support students’ communication skills development
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access
