Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a K-12 setting in Clinton, Tennessee. You’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

The role is 1.0 FTE, M-F, starting for the 2026-2027 school year. Tennessee SLP licensure is required or eligible, with competitive hourly pay up to $55 and benefits such as health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Tennessee SLP license.
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, treatment, and consultation for school-based SLP services.
• Perform standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
