Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an on-site, 13-week contract in Albemarle, NC. The role involves a day shift (8 hours) with a 40-hour week, serving home health patients across Stanly and Montgomery counties. The position requires travel and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum 1 year of home health experience is preferred. Driver's license and insurance are required. Second interview with the manager is part of the clinical interview process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Home Health experience.
• First-time traveler accepted if experienced in home health.
• Must have Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Cognitive, trach, swallowing difficulties, stroke, aphasia patient care.
• Travel across Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy area.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health visits per week as scheduled.
• Travel to patients within Stanly & Montgomery counties.
• Use EPIC Rover for documentation (view only) and Home Care Home Base.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• No on-call or weekend rotation.

About Facility:

• Home Health
• Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Department Information:

• 6 visits a day
• They are required 30 VE a week
• There is not a max mileage to drive. The average is approximately 60-80 miles a day. Mileage is reimbursed weekly.

Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year Home Health
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes, if seasoned to home health
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Teammates will travel throughout the below areas:
• Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy and cities in between
• Cognitive, trach, difficulty swallowing, stroke, aphasia
• All adults

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• Driver's License and proof of Insurance required

Skills required: HCHB experience, self-motivation and able to work independently, great time management, able to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team.
