Job summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home and facility settings for older adults in Pittsfield, MA. This 13-week contract offers a flexible schedule, onsite hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 36-hour minimum guarantee per week.

Responsibilities include supervision of CFYs and students when applicable, coordinating with the rehabilitation team, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress in compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residence.

Responsibilities

Supervision of CFYs, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as applicable.
Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules and documentation requirements.
Coordinate care with rehabilitation team and physician to select appropriate therapies.
Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient needs and progress.
Ensure safe home environment and maintain equipment and supplies.
