Job summary

Tri County Technical College seeks a Speech Instructor to develop and deliver courses for a diverse student body, provide academic guidance, and contribute to curriculum updates in line with program needs.

This position requires a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech and/or Communications and will involve face-to-face instruction onsite beginning Spring 2027, with collaboration across divisions to support 2-year programs and certificates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech and/or Communications.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program.
• Review, evaluate, and revise course objectives, materials, and syllabi.
• Design new courses as needed and ensure compliance with accrediting guidelines.
• Serve as academic advisor to students and participate in recruitment and development.
• Maintain records of student progress and assign grades.
• Participate in professional development and service on College committees.
