The Speech instructor will develop and deliver a variety of engaging speech courses for a diverse student body; provide academic support and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning environment; and contribute to curriculum development and enhancement to meet the needs of evolving programs.
Reporting to the Department Head for Internal Partnerships, this Speech Instructor will also collaborate with other academic divisions to design, revise, and enhance the curriculum of courses that support Tri-County’s 2-year degree, diploma, and certificate programs. The instructor will engage with 2-year programs and actively participate in their growth and enhancement. The instructor will contribute to the development of certificate programs and establish new internal partnerships for the Speech faculty and curriculum, aligning with our commitment to excellence in education.
The successful candidate will be expected to begin employment in Spring 2027. This position requires face-to-face instruction, must be willing to teach onsite
Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech and/or Communications (coursework may include courses with prefixes such as SPC or COMM in order to be credentialed for this role).
