Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a multidisciplinary team to support PK-12 students. The role includes direct intervention per IEPs, assessment, and collaboration with administrators, staff, and parents.
The SLP will supervise SLPAs, participate in program planning, and contribute to student learning by providing consultation and targeted interventions. This is a full-time, on-site position in California.
This is a 1.0 FTE position with a work year including 186 work days.
Speech-Language Pathologists work with a multidisciplinary team that inculdes Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, to provide services to the PK-12 population. This is an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is flexible, is a team player, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, and creativity, and has the ability to problem solve and support students with various learning challenges. The responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assessment and interpretation of student learning needs and assisting in planning, developing, and evaluating programs to meet students' learning needs. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct intervention as listed in student's IEPs through individual/small group instruction, as well as provide consultation to administrators, staff, and parents. The Speech-Language Pathologists supervise the SLPAs.
