Job summary

ProCare Therapy is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to K-8 students with moderate to profound communication needs at a single site near Bridgeport, CT. This full-time contract runs from August 24, 2026 to June 11, 2027, servicing a caseload of about 40 students with support from a collaborative educational team.

You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, document progress, and work with teachers and families to implement effective communication

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active SLP license in the state.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience with K-8 populations with moderate to profound needs.
• Proficiency with AAC devices and strategies.
• Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with communication challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation.

Step into a vital contract role providing speech-language services to K-8 students with moderate to profound communication needs. This full-time position, conveniently located at a single site near Bridgeport, CT, runs from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You will support a caseload of approximately 40 students, delivering impactful interventions and collaborating with a diverse educational team.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state issued by the appropriate board
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with K-8 populations, especially with moderate to profound communication deficits
• Proficiency and experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

What youll do:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with a range of communication challenges
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers and family members, promoting effective communication strategies for each student
