Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Bristol, CT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive assessments and therapy in a school setting, supporting students' communication and social participation. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, develop IEPs, and maintain documentation.

A Master's in SLP and state licensure are required; CCC-SLP is preferred; pediatric/school experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; clinical fellows considered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within the school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as required.

Job description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, clinical fellows considered
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
