Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a Full-Time role in Tolleson, AZ, for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate will lead a classroom, develop IEPs, and implement PBIS while collaborating with families and staff to support students’ academic and social growth.

Required AZ Teaching Certificate in Special Education, a Bachelor's degree, and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. CEU reimbursement and ongoing professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate is required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a special education classroom and develop IEPs.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage PBIS program and track behavior.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and coordinate with families and staff.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
• Monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers and outside agencies.
• Support assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
