Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an Avondale, AZ classroom. You will develop IEPs, manage PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with families to support each student's academic and social growth.

Requirements: AZ Special Education certification, Bachelor's degree, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Preferred: Master’s degree and 2–5 years of related experience. Eligible for a $2,500 placement bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Must hold AZ Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree required for eligibility.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required for employment.
• Master's degree in special education preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop lesson plans aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage PBIS in the classroom with progress tracking.
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
• Conduct assessments and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and outside agencies.
• Support implementation of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
