Point Quest Group in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a long-term substitute role for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time and offers a $2,500 placement bonus based on experience and eligibility.

You will develop IEPs, implement PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with families and staff to support students' academic and social growth. Requires AZ Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate, a Bachelor's degree, and IVP

Qualifications

• Requires AZ Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement PBIS, track behavior, and communicate with parents.
• Supervise paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings with compliant documentation.
• Assess and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and external agencies.
• Support use of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
