Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC in Virginia's Northumberland County is seeking a K-12 Pathway Program - Special Education Teacher for a temporary assignment. In this role you will serve students in special education as a classroom teacher in a pathway program, with opportunities toward licensure.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field are eligible to participate, and may work toward a provisional SPED license for the 2026-27 school year and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or institution.
• Foundations of special education course or willingness to take the course as a term of employment.
• Will work toward obtaining a provisional Special Education License in Virginia.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, administrators, support staff and parents.
• Continually assess and monitor student achievement and maintain all documents and evaluations for reporting purposes.
• Design and implement appropriate instructional and learning strategies and activities.
• Manage student behaviors to create a conducive learning environment.
• Coordinate instructional activities with other professional staff to maximize learning opportunities.
• Participate in in-service and professional development activities and staff meetings.
