Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking a Middle School SPED Pathway Co-Teacher in Virginia Beach, VA. The role supports students in special education as part of a pathway program and leads instructional activities in a collaborative setting.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field are eligible to participate in the pathway and may become eligible for a provisional SPED license for the 2026-27 school year and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completed foundations of special education course or willing to take it as a term of employment.
• Will work toward a provisional Special Education License in Virginia.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, peers, administrators, staff, and parents.
• Assess and monitor student achievement; maintain documentation for reporting.
• Design and implement instructional strategies and activities.
• Manage student behavior to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Coordinate with other staff to maximize learning opportunities.
• Participate in in-service and professional development activities.
